4.15.21 Mushroom Festival – Homestead, FL
It’s not often that we get hired to shoot festivals, but 2021 seems to be the year for bigger projects that we’ve had the opportunity of being connected with.
For DevKnight Media, and extension Grownextdoor, Miami Mushroom Festival was such an opportunity to meet the team of Live Ultimate, IntiFruits, and the festival-goers present.
Victoria (@vofvossae), a close friend of ours, reached out to get some coverage of her performance during the 3rd day present.
Valyncia, who I got to meet as a casual goer to the event, treated me to a cracked open coconut and we both quickly were able to distill some of the vibes from that day into some of the shots you’ll see below. I’m trying each day to step out of my comfort zone and capture moments as I see them. The lens has become a tool lately, an extension of my character and an outlet for creativity. It’s fitting, however, that we were on a farm literally 3 min from my hydroponics garden in Homestead.
